Progress on the plan

The NT Government is accountable for the delivery of the plan’s priority actions and tracking progress towards the priority areas and outcomes.

Monitoring and evaluation framework

A monitoring and evaluation framework has been developed to outline how progress will be reported annually, and evaluated at the end of the first 3 years of the plan. An evaluation report will be prepared at the end of 2026.

Annual progress reports

The Office of Water Security publishes an annual progress report detailing progress on the delivery of priority actions.

The Minister for Environment, Climate Change and Water Security also provides an annual ministerial statement to the Legislative Assembly of the Northern Territory.
